Accommodation
Whether you prefer to stay with our host families or in hotels or hostels, our Accommodation Officer will be happy to advise and provide any assistance with booking your accommodation.
We recommend you to submit requests for the accommodation of your choice well in advance, together with the student enrolment form.
All accommodation is subject to availability and a placement fee and not guaranteed until confirmed by EducaCentre.
Host Family Accommodation
We strongly recommend students to choose host family accommodation when visiting St. Petersburg to study Russian. Not only does staying with a host family provide the perfect opportunity to experience real Russian life in friendly and welcoming company, it also gives students the chance to improve their Russian outside the classroom.
Our host families have been carefully selected according to the following criteria:
- The quality of accommodation as well as the warmth of hospitality offered
- The hosts speak standard educated Russian
- The hosts are genuinely interested in helping students to develop fluency in Russian
- The hosts are sociable and keen to make new friends and learn about the lives and cultures of students from other countries
Flat Accommodation
Students who prefer living on their own can rent an apartment with the help of our school. Educacentre has several studio, 1 room and 2 room modern apartments.The flats are located in the very city center, not far from Vasilievsky island and the famous Rostral Columns, the Peter and Paul Fotress and Hemitage across the bridges.
They are newly repaired and fully equipped. They include: bed/sofa, table, wardrobe, TV (in the room), cooker, refrigerator, kettle, dishes, table and chairs, washing machine (kitchen facilities)
Hotel / Hostel Accommodation
Over the years EducaCentre has built good relationships with a range of hotels and hostels. We are happy to make reservations on your behalf. Please note: room prices vary according to the season and are available on request.
