‘Container’ is the first Russian-language show from Apple TV +

The streaming service Apple TV + has reportedly ordered its first original series in Russian, with Container star Bourne’s supremacy Oksana Akinshina.

According to a report from Variety, the show previously aired in his native Russia last September, but will be available to stream on Apple TV + in the spring of 2022. Russian screen stars Filipp Yankovskiy (The three Musketeers), Marusya Fomina (Gold diggers) and Artem Bystrov (Earthquake) are also affected.

The report says the show will be an “unruffled” thriller.

Described as “daring” and “steadfast,” the series sees Akinshina play Sasha, a surrogate mother hiding a dangerous secret who reluctantly finds herself locked in the luxurious home of the wealthy family she is giving birth to. As Sasha navigates between the privileges and politics of the super-rich, her secrets and theirs threaten to collide.

More Russian content is on the way, of course. Apple TV + has already signed an agreement with Alexander Rodnyansky’s production company, AR Content, which will see the company “provide Apple with a list of Russian and multi-language shows.”

Priced at just $ 4.99 per month, Apple TV + is one of the best value for money when it comes to streaming home content right now with new movies, TV shows, and documentaries coming in all the time. . Strokes like Ted lasso and The morning show are also just the tip of the iceberg.
