LSM Russian News Content Revamped and Relaunched / Article

On September 17, a new minority multimedia platform Rus.LSM.lv is launched, in which Russian-language content from Latvian TV, Latvian radio 4 and LSM public media portal is combined into a new format.

“The objective of Latvian television is to ensure effective and targeted communication with the audience of the Latvian minority. In order to keep it in the Latvian information space, we have created a new meeting place on the RUS.LSM platform. By combining the three public media, it will be possible to deliver objective, independent and diverse content even faster and easier, ”said Ivars Priede, member of the board of directors of LTV.

The platform’s content offering will include textual and graphic, video and audio information, as well as live video formats and events, and the staff will include many familiar and respected Russian-speaking journalists with the team of LTV’s “Russkoye Veshchani” (Русское вещание) merged with the RUS.LSM portal team.

Today at 4:00 p.m., a live broadcast will showcase the new multi-functional studio and viewers will have the opportunity to interact with the new team.
